You said you know like if you want i Could talk about this if unlocking live And i was i didn’t want to like freak Out i’m like oh yeah maybe I was like this would be so cool so um I’m pumped man this is finally your time And your year and uh it’s gonna be so Much fun so first off um do you wanna Introduce yourself to everybody who may Not know who you are yet Yeah for sure so first off i want to say Well russell i super appreciate that and I’m pumped to speak uh this is Definitely about all the attendees right Like it’s all always fun to you know Come talk about what we get to do as Speakers and as presenters or whatnot But everything that we do and everything That i teach like starts with the the Person who is sitting in the seat or the Person who’s there in mind right and That’s how we’ve kind of always operated Um and so for those of you that don’t Know me i got started in the social Media space about five years ago i grew Up on a farm in the middle of nowhere Right and i didn’t know anything about The online space and then i stumbled Upon instagram one day and i was like Wait what i can get random people to Follow me this is insane right um i had My nearest neighbor half mile away so i Had more followers on instagram than you Know my whole town in like two days
Right so anyway i i right place right Time with instagram blew up on there um Grew and managed about about seven Million total followers now but at the Time it was about four or four and a Half um but i ran into this big problem And the big problem was i wasn’t making Any money right and that was that was The issue i think that a lot of people Have especially in the online space is They can get followers they can get Members um and so anyway i did my first Webinar and i was all excited i was Gonna make all this money and i had two Thousand people registered because we Had all this traffic i had a thousand People show up live we had 900 people on It pitch and i made no sales And then i made one sale on the Follow-up and it was awful it was Horrible and i never ever wanted to do Anything again but that’s how i Discovered uh stories and the the effect And the power of stories and how that’s The thing that gets people to move and Gets people to create desire and uh we Created this thing called the master Story and we’ve gone on to help our Clients now do Well i can’t do earnings claims but lots Lots and lots all right lots and lots of Money and sales and success um and we’ve Worked with a lot of the big people Inside of clickfunnels world actually um
Doing launches for them helping them Write their stories or whatnot and um Yeah been a die-hard die-hard funnel Hacker since that day since i read the Dot-com secret so that’s a little bit of A backstory about uh about me oh man It’s so cool um dude i’m excited uh Because It’s interesting like obviously you know In the books right there behind you Expert secrets i talk about story a lot Best book ever and oh well thank you i Was going to ask you of all the books on Your shelf behind you which one’s your Favorite but you know like expert Secrets well okay i have the bible down Here and jordan The bible trumps it all right the bible Trumps it but but from actual practice i Love i love stories right i love stories About elon i love those things but if You want tactical knowledge which i love Funnel hacking live right if you want Tactical knowledge of how to bring ideas Into action i was actually talking with Myron uh golden yesterday and his team Or whatever he’s like it’s actually Shocking how many once again i can’t do Earnings claims but how many two comma Club awards russell has handed out uh Due to the information and how you teach So no expertise is the best well thank You so i want to talk about because um Obviously people heard about story and
Storytelling story selling and things Like that but you’ve kind of figured out This this really cool Spot and you call it the master story And it’s just this type of story and i’d Love for people Obviously you’re going to be teaching Going deeper and fun like you live but Just understand like a glimpse of like What the difference is between like oh Tell a story versus like what is your Master story how do you craft an Architect where you’ve got this flawless Thing that like you put in the world and People hear that without even doing a Sales pitch if you do it correctly like People will line up to buy without even Selling anything if you if you structure Right i love you guys talk about that a Little bit yeah for sure well it’s Interesting i i’ll never forget i’m i’m At the time back up two years three Years ago whatever it was i’m trying to Figure out webinars i’m trying to figure Out bsl and sales presentations and Content obviously i had a podcast and Doing content and all this right and i’m Just trying to figure out what actually Makes somebody buy right because like at The end of the day like i knew how to Get views i knew how to get engagement But like i could not figure out how to Actually turn those people into an Actual buyer i remember you saying
Something one time it pissed me off Right and it was listen if you if you do Your backstory right People are ready to buy right there i Was like yeah okay russell right like no Way right and what the belief was Created for me in an experience which by The way all right and Dan gets done with his backstory he Hasn’t even gone into his secrets yet And the comment section is blowing up And it’s like just send me the link just Send me the link i’m i’m ready to buy it And i’m like wait what like that and so What i realized was okay there was Something to the story because the Backstory is kind of the thing or i call It the master story now and i’ll explain Why here in just a second but like when You set the story correctly all you’re Doing in secret one secret two secret Three is you’re just building the Frameworks that you followed in that Backstory right and so i started going Through and i started looking at all the Different things and the psychology Behind it and i started realizing like Okay first off we should talk about this Super super quick everybody has a wrong View of stories right everyone thinks That a story is and they approach it so Wrong it’s like i have to tell the step By step of what my life looked like and What i went through and blah blah i’m
Like is that how you learned Like did you learn everything that you Know about your topic all at once Because like i sure didn’t right like i Learned at first that stories work Really really well when i didn’t do them On my webinar and then i learned more With you and dan henry and then i Learned more when i talk with katie Richardson and she’s talking to me about Like how belief systems shift inside Your mind with stories and so it’s like A progression of things right and so When you’re telling your master story Your job is not just to tell the Sequence of events of what happened your Job is to actually build the story it is To build the belief shifts that are Necessary in order to get someone to go Oh oh oh oh that’s what i need now i Understand this in a different way right And so i went through it i went super Super deep on that and i went through And i applied this to my first real big Big case study with this was uh brad Gibb and casual tactics we went through And did theirs and we once again i’m Being very careful with earnings claims But we had awesome what they were doing I’ve i listened i read the contract i Write i know exactly what i can and Can’t say russell all right and i don’t Swear anyway but you’re the most Compliant company on the internet yes
But no we went through and what they Were spending in advertising right they Were about break even when we came in Right and within 90 days of applying the Master story and putting it into it’s The same exact offer right they didn’t Change the back end offer they didn’t Change what was included or anything Like that by simply putting in adding The master story they did Seven times the amount of revenue as That they were doing in a 90-day period Right than they were beforehand just by Changing the story right and so at that Point i was like This is the thing this is amazing right Like this is this is the thing and so uh Now we have a really cool program where We teach this now um i work with a Couple clients one-on-one uh still just To keep my you know skills sharp but The thing that i want people knowing That i’m all excited about with it is Like there’s a verse in the bible that That’s like god calls you not based on Your skills and what you’re good at like He calls you based on your calling right Based on the thing that he put inside of You before the earth ever began now i’m A big christian i believe that god has Given us eastern message and he’s put it In us before the world begin and that Story that the life that you have had Whether that’s yours whether that’s your
Clients whatever it is that in and of Itself is enough for you to go out and Have success not because i say so but Because it’s literally written into the Bible right um and i don’t know how much We want to go into that but like i truly Truly believe that and so um i’m really Really excited about it i my one of my Biggest beefs with people um is in in The teaching world is there like when You’re on webinars it’s like all you Have to do is make people feel Understood and they will buy and i’m Like yeah but i also want to learn Something right and so the master story Allows you to kind of combine both of Those which is really cool it’s cool Because um And you know it’s obviously like when You tell the story the right way if it Takes these false beliefs and people’s Head it shifts them and then gives them The correct belief for them to actually Be able to move yeah when someone’s on a Webinar or a facebook live or anything They’re like they’re butting against the Thing and not buying it’s because it’s Like i don’t like i don’t believe it Like i have some other story that’s There that’s holding back and you tell It correctly it rewrites the false story Gives them a new story and then they can Move forward and do cool stuff yeah Anyway we could like geek out like five

Like ah like i just need to know the Foundation of what i’m supposed to be Focusing on before i dive deep right so I have this short it’s like a five part Uh training where i deep dive The the journey and the structure that You need to build your story around Right and so i think one of the big Confusion points is people are always Like what story do i tell or like what Do i say or what’s there this or Whatever and so like Profound moment here ready every story Has a beginning and an end what Crazy right but that’s important all Right and if you don’t understand the Beginning and the end and then all the Steps that need to go into it you don’t Have structure right and structure is Very very very important and so the First thing we’re going to include uh Inside of that for everyone that comes In is like we have a it’s a the story Styling secrets training or the master’s Retelling seekers training and it’s like How to actually go through and build Your story around a proven structure for That so that’s gonna be super super fun Very cool so yeah number one like Between now and fhl which is like three Months away to go and listen that Prepare for it now when they show up to Your session they’ll be rock and roll And have all the details already and

Better better telling that story it just Exponentially will keep like furthering Your reach and your like all the things You’re trying to get done so and can i Say one more thing on that just super Quick yeah so i did i actually wanted to Prove the theory around master story so I did an experiment i actually got on The phone with 100 people and that is Not a made up number that is actually Booked calendar calls 100 people on the Phone that had bought click funnels all Right and i asked them the question of What made you buy click funnels like What what do you remember about your Buying experience right this is one of The questions okay 100 people that we talked to do you know What the only common denominator was out Of all 100. Every single person was like yeah Russell like told his potato gun story That was the only comment not the offer Not the webinar not the ad not the Nothing the only common number every Single person in the potato gun story And i was like all right well i guess if That’s what’s making people buy there’s Probably something to this and like just Like What i’m going to share with you not Only in the in the bonus which you Should definitely go through but also on Stage is like my job is not to come here

What to say yeah Especially you right you’re the most Awkward person in real life it’s so Funny to watch people meet you it’s so Funny you’re just like All right but They get done with the story and like Most people they think like i wat i Watch so many sales calls where people Get on and then they like technobabble And they word vomit and they’re just Like ah and then they like freak out and I’m like wait wait no no you just you Say the same thing right like you you go Through and you remind them of the story You remind them of the journey you Connect with them like that’s what you Do and so we actually went through and We crafted a sales script um i think It’s like 16 pages long and it’s broken Out into parts and it models and follows After the same psychology that we’re Actually doing in the master story and It’s word for word in the sense of like It’s like say this and then fill in the Blank here right for yours and so we Have sold Lots and lots and lots all right of Sales uh from this script i’m gonna Include that in there as well so like When you log in there’ll be a button There where you can actually download The sales script like you just like just Follow it i follow it my students follow
