What that means but like um You know back in the day You you go up in a bank account or a Savings account somewhere if you put in A big enough deposit they give you a set Of state knives or they give you a Toaster or whatever that was a premium Or columbia house records for you old People uh on the Unlike me that are on the the call today You get Nine tapes or records for a dollar by The way they became i don’t know if you Know this russell they ended up selling 13 of all the music on planet earth with That offer That’s how big a premium offer can be But we see uh the addition of a premium And i can talk as much as you want me to Talk about it or as little as you want To talk about it about what makes a good Premium and and how to utilize them but But um generally speaking for a low Dollar offer we can see a lift and an Offer as much as 300 percent Uh not not three percent 300 percent so We sold three times more with a premium Than we sell without a premium and that By that i mean now for maybe under fifty Dollars but when you go up to really big Offers uh it’s surprising the power of a Premium you and i both know uh yannick Silver pretty well and and i love Yannick to death but yannick had that

Copywriting course he sold for ever and A day probably still does i don’t know But um he he’s a maniac tester so he Tested All sorts of bonuses and things to give Away With the course and The more courses he added the more the Conversion went down because it does Equal more work right and uh when he Added a cup that said kiss the Copywriter he got a 13 bump on a 2 000 Offer That’s just a Crazy number right That’s so cool i remember the first time We talked about this i think we’re on Clubhouse or something i can’t remember And uh you were talking about i think it Was ryan’s one of his book funnels or Something same thing you added like Something that the book do you remember The numbers the stats on that one that Was fascinating to me too you know i i Hate to quote numbers And and make them up because i don’t Want to make up a number but as as best I remember uh and i’ve got it written Down somewhere we launched uh ryan’s Book to the list uh The the invisible sales machine i think It was called the book that he wrote and He was so disappointed because i think We only got like a three or four percent

Conversion rate the books of the list And these are people who love ryan They’re just like Ryan fanatics they’re ryan fans And when we added a digital marketer i’m Smarter t-shirt With the book We got 11 conversion To the exact same audience and this Shirt only cost us a couple dollars to Add in about four dollars to add into The shipment the thing is there’s just Something about getting a especially a Physical thing now companies like agora You don’t think of them as premium Sellers but they really really are The way they sell they sell the same old Newsletters over and over and over and Over and over and over and over again The only thing that changes with an Agora offer is indeed the premium so They’ll have that special report You know nancy pelosi’s secret to Whatever but at the end of the thing Down on the bottom they’re still just Selling the oxford club The offer never changes what they’re Selling never ever ever changes the only Thing that changes is the premium and When i i work with a gory now as a Partner so i really realize you know Understand more of how their their Business works but that’s the Fascinating part so they’ll have an

Offer like the oxford club letter that’s Been running for 22 years i think or some craziness and The bottom half of that letter Physically never changes the only thing That changes Is the premium they give away at the top Now that’s a digital premium Which i’m not a huge fan of Even a book is a premium i’m not a huge Fan of Um because really those aren’t the Things that really make people move Uh from a premium perspective I’m talking with the mic muted still so We cannot have the echo That is so awesome um Man that’s so cool i i’m excited because Um we’ve been doing more and more of That in in our company in fact uh after Last time you talked about the t-shirt Off with ryan i actually went and bought A t-shirt company literally um it was uh Startup drugs i don’t remember starbucks They had like 150 different entrepreneur T-shirts that they’d created so i bought That company we’re going to be Relaunching it soon but i was like and People who buy entrepreneur t-shirts Guess what they they are they’re Entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs need Funnels i saw the same thing you had Your uh ceo hat offer and you said Something like well people who buy ceo

Hats are ceos and i sell high-end ticket Stuffed ceo so it’s like a a premium That was so simple but it got you the Dream like created the dream customer For you which is so powerful Yeah it really it really did Maybe maybe the offer i ever did i don’t Think i did a great job on the back of That offer to be honest with you i’ll Tell you when i do something really Smart i’ll toot my own horn i’ll tell You when to do something really stupid That one i just wasn’t prepared for the Back end the craziness was the front end Acquisition was so low it was crazy uh i Don’t know if you know sean uh sean Whalen or not that does lions not sheep But you know they built an entire Business a multi-million dollar Mastermind business off the back of Selling t-shirts They sell a lions not cheap t-shirt and Then every quarter they come back and Say hey you’re you must be a lions not Sheep guy Don’t you want to join our mastermind Group for i think it’s 400 bucks a month Or something and they’ve got this a Jillion members in that thing now it’s Ridiculous but it was all built on Physical and and i think that people in Our industry people in the info selling Industry Get hung up on

Uh Digital downloads and things like that And on the front end level like a new Buyer who doesn’t know you Um a download or access to a video or Whatever is not nearly as compelling as Giving them that but also giving them Something that they want and that’s the Big deal with a premium a premium has to Be a couple of things number one it Needs to be something that really Identifies the audience and two and There are a bunch of other factors i’ll Talk about that at funnel hacking but Two it just has to be something they Want Not something that they need Something that they want we when we made That first digital marketer t-shirt it Just said digital marker on it and Nobody bought those things it was like We couldn’t give them away And then when we put on the front of it I’m smarter And they had an identification tag right They had Uh mark ford calls it badge value when They had badge value with that We the first place we used those T-shirts was at a uh At an event a tnc event and when we were Selling the recordings uh at the Registration we said hey if you get the Recordings today you get a shirt

And recording sales went up like 300 Percent For 300 recordings Because we gave them a 20 shirt it it’s Nonsensical right it doesn’t It it it as they say it bottles the mind It boggles the mind but it really does And and the secret is one of the big Secrets i’ll talk about funnel hacking Too is if you start an offer with a Premium Premiums need to be all the way down Funnel because you have a premium buyer And most people make that mistake they Bring a buyer in with a premium And then they offer them upsells without Having premiums attached to those Upsells And that’s a Catastrophic mistake Uh every time we’ve ever tried to do That it’s been a an abstract failure Which was one of my problems frankly With the Uh the ceo offer and that and and i Didn’t have any idea what i was going to Sell them when i made the offer i just Wanted to prove i could sell the hats Right that’s so awesome Dude i’m excited i’m excited for your Presentation uh watching you do this Over the years has been fascinating First one i saw you guys do was the free Credit card knife and um
