A thank you Paige that thanks people for Joining your list Starting off in your click funnels Account Go to the site and funnels portion of Your account and then click the funnels Tab Now you can use the recipes button to Find the pre-made funnel templates You can use the generate leads filter to Narrow down on the type of funnel that You're looking to build and then click The hero funnel You can give your funnel a descriptive Name that you'll remember when you're Looking for it later then click create Funnel You now find yourself on the funnel Workflow for your new funnel hero page You'll see that while the specific page Type of the hero funnel is a hero page You will use the basis of an opt-in Template the hero page is a page type of The funnel hackers cookbook that Explains who you are and why people Should listen to your ideas Using an opt-in template helps people to Follow you if they're interested in what You have to say Click on the opt-in template funnel step To edit it And then you can either build one from a Template by selecting one of the Templates by clicking choose or build a
New page from scratch by clicking the New page button in the top right hand Corner In this case we'll choose a template Creating this page for template we can Choose a page name And if we want add a short description Select a page URL although one will be Procedurally generated if we don't set One up in advance and then do things Like select a page titled and Page Description for search engine Optimization that helps search engines Index and find our page more easily We can also choose whether we want this Page to be indexed in search engines and Since it's the first page and our hero Page we should leave that on when you're Satisfied with your settings click Create page to continue Now that the template is selected you Can go to the page itself and edit its Content by mousing over and clicking the Edit button When editing this page you can change The elements The rows or the sections of the page or Adjusting the content of any thereof As a template it will default to lorem Ipsum text And you'll want to edit this to your Specific copy This step will include also include an Opt-in for people to learn more or get
Updates so be sure to mention if you Have a newsletter we'll be sending out Broadcasts An opt-in page does need at least a Field to collect an email and a button Set to submit the page in order to Reflect the required information and Create a new contact A button set to submit the page will Advance the page to the next step in the Funnel in this case our thank you page In this funnel the fields and buttons Are found in the pop-up Although you can also have them in the Body of the text Don't forget to edit the copy in the Pop-up When you're satisfied with the changes That you've made click save in the top Right hand corner in order to save your Changes and then return to the funnel Workflow We'll now repeat the process with the Thank you page thank you page thanks the New contact for sharing their contact Information and lets them know what they Can expect as a follow-up such as a Newsletter or future broadcasts Foreign [Music] And then we can move to the editor in Order to customize it and specify what The new contact can expect to hear from Us
