Foreign [Music] Here with click funnels education and Today we're going to be talking about Split testing so when you want to create A split test is let's say you have a new Idea and you want to try it out but you Don't want to have to deal with any Guessing games right sometimes the new Idea could be as simple as creating or Adding a new headline to a page Sometimes changing the color of a Background or a button or sometimes even Creating an entire different design and You want to know if it does the trick or Not right but again you don't want to Have any guessing games and you don't Want to risk eliminating your existing Work just to try a new one and then find Out later that it didn't perform as good As the original one did right So what do you do in that case well Right here I'm in a funnel and in this Example I'm going to be using a simple Opt-in page right so let's say I want to Change I don't know the color on it and I want to see if that works better what I'm going to do I'm going to go to the Page I want to split test I'm going to Click on these three little dots right Here And then I'm going to click on split Test page Now you can see that it gives me this
Option here that's a split test and it Says 50 and 50 on each side what this Means is that when people land on this Page Half of the people are going to land on This side right over here and then the Other half browsers are going to send Them to this site over here the right Side right so now that I've done that I could also select if I want to send a Larger percentage to this site over here Let's say if I've been running this Design for a few months right now and I Want to test the new one and maybe I Don't want to this send 50 50. I want to Send like 80 to this side I will simply Drag this little lever over here until It says 80 percent or I could go in and Manually type it in right but in this Case I'm just going to keep it at 50 50. And I'll click apply change So now I'm ready to create the other Design right here right I'm going to Click on this little plus sign And right here you're going to see two Options it says page or split path Let me click on split path real quick Here And as you can see now it says test or Decision the test option is basically to Create another entire split test you Will click here test And then right here you could basically Do what we're doing here at the moment
And kind of give it more options down Here right And this will make more sense to you Once we go through this right here so I'm going to click this x because we're Not going to do the option right now I'm going to click here again to show You the other option I'm going to do Split path There's also the option for decision Right So when you click on decision you could Do here it says set up your conditions And it's going to give you a ton of Really cool options right here right so Let's say I only want people that bought A specific product to go down this path Or the opposite maybe if they didn't buy It I don't want them to go down there Right so I will come here and I will Scroll down to where it says purchase Product And is and then I will have a selection Here on my existing products right Now this is a test funnel so I don't Have any existing products but if I did It will appear here and I will select it And then I would hit submit and once Again now it would only allow people who Purchase a specific product to go down This side of the split test okay Let me discard this And I'm going to hit the X one more time To show you the other option which is
Probably the more common one you click Here the plus sign And I'm going to do page And I'm going to select in this case I'm Using an opt-in page I want to make sure It's on opt-in and I'm going to select Another page here Then I could give it a name I'll just Call this test C1 for example you can give a Description create your own path and Everything and once you're satisfied With that simply to create page Now we'll take a few seconds for the Preview to appear here but that's no Problem Um let's say if I wanted to change the Headline I was simply go into edit page I would make those changes save the Changes same thing with the color design Whatever you want to do and then Basically once you're done with that People are going to be sent to each side Depending on the percentage that you set Here right Now the most important part about all of This is how do you determine which page Did better what you want to do is come Up here to the top right on these three Little dots And right here where it says show Analytics you're going to enable the Switch and as you can see it starts to Give you some stats over here and also
At the bottom of the pages here Now this is a new funnel so I don't have Any stats here but eventually you're Going to see in this case because it's An opt-in page you're going to see which One had more opt-ins and that's going to Tell you which page performed better Then once you're ready to make a Decision of which one did better you Could simply go and eliminate the Existing other page right in this case Let me turn off Analytics And then you could come up here and you Could click this little X to eliminate The split test and it's going to ask you Which side do you want to delete both of Them the left to the right in this case I'm going to eliminate the right hand Side and I'm going to click remove And that's how you perform a split test For any more questions please feel free To reach out to us and we'll be happy to Help you
